Ionithermie uses a combination of galvanic and faradic electrical stimulation along with the application of all-natural products to detoxify and slim your body.  The application of Galvanic Stimulation causes motion of negatively and positively charged particles via an electrical current.  This motion, used in beauty regimens for decades, carries the all-natural products into the dermal layer to assist in breaking down fat and toxins.  The application of Faradic Stimulation causes passive contractions of the muscles to increase blood circulation and tone muscles.  Faradic stimulation has also been used by physiotherapists and chiropractors to assist in toning and repairing muscle injuries.

The all-natural products applied for Ionithermie treatments are a combination of micronized algae, conductive thermal clay and specialized products from the Les Complexes Biotechniques line.  The thermal clay transmits the galvanic and faradic stimuli and aids in keeping clients warm during treatment.  The transmitted stimuli penetrate the algae and Les Complexes Biotechniques products deep into the dermal layer of your skin.  These products attack toxins and aid in breaking them down and dispensing the waste.

Cellulite is caused by a variety of changes in the skin.  Two of the changes that cause the appearance of cellulite are a decrease in circulation and an increase in fluids held within the skin.  Decreased circulation lessens the body’s ability to rid itself of the toxins in the fluids held within the skin.  The application of electrical stimuli increasing circulation and the pushing of detoxifying products into the dermal layer to the toxin-filled fluids held in the skin effectively neutralizes these causes of the appearance of cellulite.
